MummyThe world still has surprises for us. According to reports, Spanish archaeologists have unearthed a 3600-year-old mummy in the ancient city of Luxor, Egypt. The mummy was found preserved in a wooden sarcophagus that dates back to 1600 BC.

Sources reveal that the mummy is that of a high official. The sarcophagus is engraved with hieroglyphs. The actual identity of the mummy is being studied by the archaeologists. It is quite unusual that the two-meter sarcophagus has been able to retain its original coloring and writings.

In the meanwhile, three Germans were detained after they were accused of smuggling and damaging antiquities.
