Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) will support the First Aerospace & Aviation Exhibition and Conferences of Western Africa, in Accra, from 24 to 26t of October 2017.
“We are happy to announce this partnership and support this event, our expertise will help the organiser in the conference, we are aiming at three days of networking for accelerated Air Transport growth in Africa,” Simon Allotey, director general GCAA.
The world’s top ten fastest-growing air passenger markets in percentage terms will be in Africa, according to the latest figures released today by IATA.
Ghana, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Central African Republic, Benin, Mali, Rwanda, Togo, Uganda, Zambia are all expected to grow by more than 8% year-on-year over the next 20 years, doubling in size each decade. Africa as a whole will see an extra 192 million passengers a year for a total market of 303 million passengers by 2035.
The brand new GATA Ghana Civil Aviation Training Academy building will host conferences with more than 10 classrooms for case studies and more than 300 seats for the plenary sessions.
African Airshow will open from 24 to 26 October 2017, at Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Republic of Ghana.
