Ms World United Nations, Queen Hadassah Ibinyingi Allaputa has been appointed as the National Youth Research Co-ordinator, for the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) in Nigeria.
For the first time in 60yrs NCWS inaugurated the first National Young women forum of NCWS to be a stronger voice for young women especially girls across Nigeria and around the world.

According to the National President Mrs Gloria Laraba Shoda, MNI, “We as older women need to passionately mentor young women to transit into becoming agents of women development early, we will share our experiences and with new ideas and innovations from them to tackle social and economic problems faced with girls in our society.”
The National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) Founded in1958 As the Umbrella body of all Women groups and Associations in Nigeria. The Council has it’s headquarter in Abuja, state branches in all the 36 states of the federation and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and functional local chapters in all the 774 local government areas in Nigeria, there are numerous professional, socio-cultural and humanitarian organizations affiliated to the council at the national and state levels.

The Council is the only women organization in Nigeria registered with the International Council of Women (ICW).
Last year NCWS Nigeria clocked 60years.
