Nigerian Tourism Lovers, a leading tourism company, has announced plans to sponsor 100 tourism enthusiasts to Osun state, Nigeria on the 9th-10th of April, 2023.
The move is aimed at promoting tourism in the state and showcasing the unique culture and heritage of the people and enabling Nigerians to travel within Nigeria.
The sponsored tour is expected to last for 2days and will include visits to one of the most iconic tourist sites in Osun state.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the Ayinkunnugba Waterfall, an awe-inspiring site in Osun state. Its general appearance and beauty can be seen through the peak of a hill which offers an amazing view of the waterfall flowing and splashing down, creating natural swimming pool spots.
In addition, tourists will also have the opportunity to experience a cultural display with local palm wine in the evening and it’s all about camping around the waterfall which accommodates trees, shrubs, cool and refreshing breeze with evergreen vegetation.

According to the Co-Initiator of Nigerian Tourism Lovers, Mr. Ibrahim Makanjuola, the aim of the sponsored tour is to create awareness of the rich Nigerian culture, food and heritage of Osun state and promote domestic tourism. In 2022, the group sponsored Over 100 tourism enthusiasts to Idere Hills in Oyo state. This is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and commitment to promoting the growth of the Nigerian tourism industry.
This initiative is expected to not only promote tourism in Osun state but also create jobs and stimulate economic growth in the region. It is a welcome development for the tourism industry in Nigeria, which has the potential to become a major source of revenue for the country.
As the government and private sector continue to invest in the tourism industry, it is hoped that more initiatives like this will be undertaken to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria and attract more tourists to the country.
