Dr. Daniel McKorley is the Executive Chairman of McDan Group of Companies of which the flagship Mcdan Shipping Company Limited is a subsidiary and over the years has become the experts in Shipping and Freight Forwarding.
He is a successful entrepreneur and has extensive experience in managing businesses. Dr. McKorley has nurtured the growth of his companies to the level of attaining national and international recognition. His companies have won several accolades such as “the Fastest Growing Company in Ghana” and “Leading Company in West Africa”. He holds Doctorate Degree from Commonwealth University, London Business School, UK, and an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration (EMBA) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). A commercially astute executive with a wealth of experience gained within the freight forwarding, haulage, logistics and private security industry, both locally & internationally. He has won several awards including African CEO of the year award at the 2016 African Business Leadership Awards for his achievements and significant contributions to the business and entrepreneurship landscape as well as overall development of Ghana. Among his awards are the Best Trade Name in Paris during the Paris New Millennium Award – 2009; Golden Transport Award, Madrid Spain – 2007; The Best Freight Forwarding Company in Ghana, Ghana Club 100; The 5th Best Company in Ghana, Ghana Club 100; The International Quality Award.
