Africa: Jimi Kariuki retains Kenya Tourism Board chairmanship

Mr. Jimi Kariuki, CEO of Sarova Hotels in Kenya, has been re-appointed to another term of office as Chairman of the Kenya Tourism Board after his initial appointment, made in 2016 had come to an end.

Jimi rose through the ranks at Sarova Hotels, where he joined in 1992 and where his father John Kariuki is now Chairman of the Board of Directors, serving for some time as Director of Sales and Marketing before rising to the position of Managing Director and CEO after the tragic death of J.S. ‘Pinky’ Vohra.
