Alain St.Ange, former Seychelles Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, extended his congratulations to Navin Ramgoolam and his coalition following their decisive election victory in Mauritius last weekend.
St.Ange, who worked with Ramgoolam during his tenure as Prime Minister in 2014, praised the outcome as a reflection of Mauritius’s robust democratic values, with the people exercising their role as the ultimate decision-makers at the polls.
He said: “It is my duty as a fellow Indian Ocean Islander to say congratulations to Prime Minister elec Navin Ramgoolam and his election coalition. His tenacity in the political arena is equaled. I wish Navin Ramgoolam success and good health” said Alain St.Ange who met Ramgoolam when he visited Seychelles and when he was received at the Prime Minister Port Louis Offices.”
