The leading Travel and Tourism Event Organisers in West-Africa- Lagos based Akwaaba Travel Market Ltd, the organisers of Abuja Bantaba and Africa Travel Market in Lagos has announced new dates for its event.
According to the Executive Director of Akwaaba, Rita Ikechi-Uko, “the Nigerian Elections postponed from February 14th-March and April coincides with the dates and period for Abuja Bantaba hence, the need to cancel the event for this year scheduled for 25th of April. Also, due to the elections and lessons learnt from the Ebola Epidemic in 2014, our flagship Event-the 3day African Travel Market will now hold from the 22nd-24th of November 2015 at Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Lagos, it was to hold in Oct, 2015”.
These changes come as the Event Organiser announces the launch of Accra Weizo, a 1day Travel Seminar, Workshop and Exhibition taking place in Accra, Ghana on the 3rd of July, 2015. Accra Weizo touted as Aviation meeting Tourism and Immigration, the 1day Event with heavy weight Speakers already lined-up promises to be exciting.
Already working with the Ghana Tour operators Union (TOUGHA), Tour Packages for different parts of Ghana are worked out for over 150 Delegates expected from all over Africa.
Akwaaba: African Travel Market is the only International Travel Trade Fair in West-Africa. It is the largest marketing Platform to meet with Travelling Public, Airlines, Hotels, Restaurants, Tour Operators, Travel Agents, State Tourism Boards, Foreign Trade and Tourism sectors in Nigeria, West-Africa and Africa. It is in its 11th year.
Aftm attracted exhibitors from over 20 countries and about 15,000 attendees last year and more are expected this year.
