According to our tour guide from Maison Travels, Celisse Zelime, 35, 000 inhabitants live in Victoria, the country’s capital, while 90 percent of the population are catholics with pockets of Hindu, Anglicans and others.

Zelime disclosed that even her parish priest is a Nigeria.

She noted that that Island’s biggest markets are Germany, France and others while United Kingdom Switzerland rank among the biggest spenders.

It has reasonable number of airline operating in and out of the Island, like Ethiopian Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, including Air Seycheles, among others.

Takamaka is one of the 22 administrative regions of Mahé, Republic of Seychelles. It is located on the southern part of the island of Mahé. (3 other districts cover the two other main islands of the Republic, Grand’ Anse and Baie Sainte Anne on the island of Praslin and the inner islands district which comprise the 3rd largest island, La Digue). Its population is estimated at around 3,000.

Also, there is another Takakama which is a fine Rum that is proudly Seychelles. Brewed in a decent and small environment, Takama leaves a lasting taste in the mouth that makes it highly sought after. Though highly alcoholic, the different flavours with varying alcoholic contents take care of different class of people, both males and females.
At the factory, the female staff took the team round and through the whole process of brewing from sugar cane to the fantastic Takamaka Rum.

The Nigerian team made the tasting of the Rum a worthwhile experience, taking different shots from the different variants with excitement and admiration from other guests who joined in the exercise.

Eden Island
Eden Island is an artificial island in Seychelles, lying 3.5 km from the capital Victoria.
