In preparation for the Eid Al Fitr celebration, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), immigration department has urged travel agents and intending tourists to the emirates on holidays to apply for their visa as soon as possible.
The UAE in a statement to its trade partners it said the Eid Al Fitr holidays for the immigration department is expected to begin from 31st of May 2019 till 8th June 2019, adding that June 9th, 2019 would be the first normal working day after the holidays.
It said previously, the immigration department used to open for a couple of hours in the Eid holidays period except for weekends which is expected to be continued for this time around.
The statement said, official declaration about the holidays and immigration working hours would be received only next week adding: “We shall update you in case of any changes on the above information.”
