Today...in 2019...there is NO 'electric' powered aircraft capable of lifting ONE human passenger / pilot for more than 30 minutes. There will not be an electric powered aircraft capable of carrying 10 passengers 100 miles for another five years. Any announcement for something sooner than that is pure hype and marketing. Electric airplanes will evolve - but JET FUEL - will power every airplane, you and I will be flying on, for AT LEAST another 30 years. Cape Air will not be flying electric airplanes in your lifetime. NOTE: Battery powered electric engines on airplanes (and cars) is NOT the technology which will win the contest for propulsion selection. EMF source for electric airplane engines from batteries...is already obsolete.
