Nigeria’s travel trade is moving further into a digital regulatory era following a capacity-building session organised by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for licensed travel agencies.

The training focused on the newly launched Directorate of Air Transport Regulation (DATR) Portal, designed to streamline regulatory processes and improve compliance within the aviation and travel sector.

Members of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) participated in the session, which introduced agencies to the portal’s features, registration processes and reporting requirements. The initiative is expected to enhance transparency, efficiency and communication between regulators and travel agencies across the country.

The portal is aimed to streamline operations, enhance integrity, data accuracy, and provide a secure, cloud-based platform for seamless application and registration for Travel Agencies
