Stakeholders across Africa’s fast-growing floriculture and perishables sectors are set to converge in Nairobi for the 2026 edition of Flower & Perishable Logistics Africa (FLA & PLA), a two-day industry gathering focused on strengthening supply chains linking the continent to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
The event, scheduled for March 30–31 at the Emara Ole-Sereni, positions Nairobi—widely regarded as the hub of Africa’s flower export market—at the center of discussions on logistics efficiency, cold chain innovation, and sustainable air freight solutions.
Organisers said the forum will bring together more than 400 East African flower exporters, growers, and importers, offering targeted networking opportunities for shippers seeking reliable logistics partners. Delegates are expected to gain insights into cold chain advancements, including degree-hours monitoring and vase-life optimisation, as well as aviation and regulatory updates affecting air cargo operations.

Panel discussions and one-on-one interviews will examine sustainable air freight practices, ground handling efficiencies, and evolving compliance requirements shaping the perishables trade.
The event also offers partnership opportunities for brands seeking visibility among decision-makers in the supply chain. Partners will receive strategic branding exposure across event materials and digital platforms, alongside speaking opportunities and curated business introductions. Organisers noted that previous editions generated high-value contracts for participating airlines, handlers, and logistics providers.
As Africa’s flower and perishables exports continue to expand, FLA & PLA 2026 is expected to serve as a key platform for collaboration, innovation, and investment across the continent’s temperature-sensitive supply chains.
