The Director, Sales and Marketing, Hilton Garden Inn, Nairobi Airport, Liz Tapawa has been listed as one of the winners of the African Travel 100 Global Leaders Award for her remarkable achievement towards the growth of the tourism sector in Africa.
Tapawa, a member of the Kenya Association of Women in tourism since 2019, has over 28 years of experience in hospitality operations & Business development.
She is the current President, Skal Kenya Nairobi 2023/2024 and it is during her presidency that Skal Kenya scooped the coveted Skal Club of the year award in Spain, Malaga during the 2023 world Skål congress.

It is important to note that in the history is Skal a global organization that has existed for over 90 years, this award has never been won by any Skal Club in Africa.
Liz’s nomination by Akwaaba came as a result of this major milestone that will be celebrated in Skal Africa for years to come.
