Recent research by the International Luxury Travel Market reveals that luxury travelers prioritize authenticity and enriching experiences.
The study, which surveyed around 400 travel suppliers catering to the ultra-wealthy, highlights the growing demand for unique and meaningful travel opportunities.
According to tourismupdate.co.za, Surveyed companies confirm that the numbers of clients and spend is “well and truly” on the up. Almost three quarters of respondents experienced double digit growth in client numbers over the past 12 months. Almost a third of those surveyed noted major increases in client spending of over 20%.
Affluent travellers are also travelling far more with their families. Over 50% of respondents have noticed that older, and therefore more financially secure parents, as well as increased personal wealth and smaller families all combine to create a new ‘family luxury’ trend.
