The President of the Tour Operators’ Union of Ghana, TOUGHA, Alisa Osei-Asamoah, has been listed as one of the winners of the African Travel 100 Global Leaders Award for her remarkable achievement towards the growth of the tourism sector in Africa.
Alisa Osei-Asamoah (Mrs), has grown into an accomplished travel and tourism consultant and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Riali Consult.
She is a member of Ghana’s prestigious Club 100; an elite club of Ghana’s most successful and respected CEOs and the current President of the Tour Operators’ Union of Ghana (TOUGHA) after serving for four continuous years each as treasurer and Vice President, respectively, of TOUGHA since 2012.

From a very humble beginning, she has risen to become one of the most recognizable and respected personalities within the travel and tourism ecosystem in Ghana and beyond, and currently serves on the boards of a number of credible institutions in Ghana.
She is a member of several local and international travel and tourism associations including the African Business Travel Association (ABTA), and the Africa Tourism Board and also has received several awards for her company and herself. She serves on various Tourism committees.
With nearly two and a half decades in active service in the travel and tourism industry, Alisa holds a Master’s degree in Tourism from the University of Cape Coast.
Over the years, her personal and professional attributes have been duly recognized by several reputable local and international institutions schemes. Some of the awards that she has received, over the last two (2) years alone, include, but not limited to the following:
- Winner of the Top 100 Travel and Tourism Personality Award by the Africa Travel 100 Women
- Award for Distinguished Service in Domestic Tourism Promotion by Ghana Environmental and Sanitation Agency (GESA)
- Best Travel Company in Ghana for the Year 2021 Award by the International Travel Awards
- Winner of the 2022 Ghana-West Africa Business Excellence Award for an Outstanding Travel and Tour of the year.
- International Business Achiever of the Year Award Winner in the Travel and Tourism Category by the Maverick Business Academy, London.
- Award for 2022 Inspiring Female Personality in Tourism by Impactful Women Award (IWA)
- Women in Africa leadership Award 2023 by Africa Partners in Tourism.
