In a groundbreaking venture, entrepreneur Adubea Ofosu has introduced ‘Accra by Air,’ a private domestic airline service that offers a unique opportunity to explore the scenic communities nestled within Accra from the skies.
According to myjoyonline.com, inspired by her passion for travel and the discovery of similar ventures abroad, particularly in Dubai, Adubea Ofosu embarked on the mission to bring this exhilarating concept to Ghana.
Speaking on Joy Learning TV’s career and entrepreneurship development program, ‘The Career Trail,’ Adubea shared the spark behind ‘Accra by Air.’ Her realization of adventure tours and city tours involving aircraft and helicopters in other countries fueled her determination to replicate the experience in Ghana. The concept revolves around providing individuals with the chance to hire an aircraft and take an awe-inspiring tour of the city from above.

Adubea highlighted the overwhelming support ‘Accra by Air’ received from Ghanaians upon its announcement, even trending on Twitter. The young entrepreneur, who also holds a degree in Nursing from the University of Ghana, Legon, explained that her background in health serves the wellness of women and children through an international organization.
The aviation venture required substantial funding, leading Adubea to collaborate with partners to raise the necessary resources. ‘Accra by Air’ has already acquired four aircraft, with plans to expand the fleet to at least 20 by the end of the year.
Adubea’s journey exemplifies the versatility of entrepreneurship, emphasizing that aspiring entrepreneurs need not confine themselves to business-related courses but can pursue any field of interest.
While she no longer practices nursing professionally, Adubea continues to contribute to the well-being of women and children through her health background.
