Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline, has marked its 11th anniversary, celebrating over a decade of growth, resilience, and commitment to connecting Nigeria with the world.

The milestone, commemorated under the theme “A Journey of Purpose, Passion, and Progress,” highlights the airline’s remarkable evolution from its maiden flight in 2014 to becoming one of Africa’s most recognized carriers.

In an email sent to its teaming clients to commemorate the anniversary, Air Peace expressed gratitude to its passengers, staff, partners, and the Nigerian public for their unwavering support. The airline acknowledged that its success story has been powered by trust, loyalty, and collective belief in its mission to deliver safe, reliable, and world-class air travel.

“From our very first flight to becoming a global ambassador for Nigeria’s aviation excellence, every milestone has been made possible by the unwavering support of our passengers, our dedicated team, our partners, and our great nation,” the airline stated.

Over the past 11 years, Air Peace has expanded its network to cover over 19 domestic routes, 9 regional destinations, and 6 international routes, including the United Arab Emirates, India, South Africa, and most recently, the Caribbean. The airline also operates one of the youngest fleets in Africa, featuring Boeing 777s, Embraer 195-E2 jets, and other modern aircraft types.

Beyond flight operations, Air Peace has been a major contributor to job creation in Nigeria’s aviation sector, employing thousands of Nigerians across its departments. The airline has also played a pivotal role in promoting Nigeria’s image abroad, often at the forefront of evacuation and humanitarian missions.

As it celebrates this significant milestone, Air Peace reaffirmed its commitment to deepening its global footprint, improving customer experience, and strengthening Nigeria’s aviation industry.
