Following the recent attempted coup in the Republic of Benin, the Consortium Touristes Par Million Au Benin (CTM-Benin), a leading tourism organization led by its President, Dine Mouinou Bouraima, has praised the vigilance and professionalism of the country’s Defence and Security Forces. The group noted that these forces continue to work tirelessly to protect citizens, secure critical infrastructure and preserve national stability.
In a statement, CTM-Benin reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to peace, security, and national cohesion—values it described as fundamental to the vitality of the tourism industry and to Benin’s wider economic development. The organization emphasized that Benin remains a welcoming, resilient and forward-looking destination, despite recent events.

CTM-Benin also called on tourism operators, economic stakeholders and both national and international partners to remain confident in the strength of the country and in the continuity of collective efforts to ensure stability.
