The Director of Events and Operations, Miss Tourism Ghana, Delphine Joyce Brew-Hammond has won the coveted Africa Travel 100 Award which recognises exceptional women in the travel and tourism sector.
Delphine Joyce Brew-Hammond is an avid tourism enthusiast who has been involved in the promotion of Ghana as a preferred destination for tourists.
Delphine is engaged in the promotion of Ghana’s Tourism both domestically and internationally through managing the Miss Tourism Ghana (MTG) Organization as a vehicle to expose the participating young ladies to specific tourism assets, highlighting Regional Costumes and challenges facing the sixteen regions of Ghana.
She is also involved in grooming and empowering young ladies from the ages 18-24 to promote Ghana’s Tourism Potentials both domestically and internationally and also steering each contestant to prepare detailed reports about specific sectors within Ghana’s tourism industry for evaluation towards their grading and with the possibility that these reports may serve as inputs for the Ministry’s tourism policy formulation.
Delphine together with the Tourism Queen, joined the Ghana delegation to the WTM in London and the ITB in Berlin to promote Ghana as an international tourism destination and also successfully presented delegates to represent Ghana on international pageants in Singapore, China, Malaysia, & Japan.
As a Client Service Director at Dapeg Ltd, she ably managed Client Relationships and led the strategic execution of projects including the Gender Initiative for the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
She developed & generated script for clients and supervised the implementation for clients, like Ghana Commercial Bank Kudi Nkosuo, Apex Bank Domestic Money Transfer and Apex Bank Efie ne Efie.
She also manages relationships with clients on behalf of the company. And also developed & generated script for clients and supervised the implementation for Apex Bank for Domestic
