Ekiti Cargo Airport is planning to have its first flight this month September if all goes well. This is according to Mr Bunmi Awotiku the Project Coordinator of Ekiti Cargo Airport.
The Project Coordinator will be leading his team to the Chinet Aviation and Cargo Conference taking place in Lagos to make a presentation of the new airport to the Aviation Stakeholders.
According to Mr. Awotiku barring any last minute hindrance the first flight into the airport will happen this month as all things needed for the flight is in place just the paper works.
Ekiti Cargo Airport will be another cargo airport engaging with Aviation Stakeholders at the Chinet Aviacargo Conference.

Ogun AgroCargo Airport will be returning to Chinet Aviacargo Conference to unveil the opportunities available to stakeholders.
The return to Chinet will be a great testimonial for Ogun State. At Chinet 2021 the Commissioner of Finance for Ogun State Dapo Okubadejo had promoted the airport as a great option for investors. He promised that the airport will be built before the end of 2022. The promised has been fulfilled and the state returns to engage Aviation Professionals in order to exploit the inherent opportunities in the industry.
