One of them, the Organiser of Akwaaba African Travel Market Ambassadors Ikechi Uko in a viral Post said: “Thank you, Lola Ade-John.  You came into a new terrain, you adapted, and you became a family member.  We wished you had stayed a bit longer. Please do know that you are highly appreciated.

“I was against the nomenclature of the Ministry from the Beginning, but you convinced us you were here to work.

“I decided to support your project of building a new ministry out of nothing. You suffered neglect and lack of funds. You lacked an office, even staff, but you persevered.

“I wish you well in life. You will thrive and succeed in your future endeavours.

“From us at Akwaaba African Travel Market, we say a big thank you. Our 20th Anniversary will not have been this successful without you and the Visa on Arrival magic you pulled off.

“Our paths shall cross again. Thanks for what you brought with you and what you are leaving behind.

From a grateful heart.”

Other leading tourism players have been sharing their appreciation on social media.
