The founder of the Mamaj Aviation Consult Limited , Joy Ogbebo has won the coveted Africa Travel 100 Award which recognises exceptional women in the travel and tourism sector.

Joy Ogbebo is an Aviation and travel blogger, an Aviation Consultant, Aviation Careers Development Advocate and a Career Mentor. With 30 years’ experience in the Aviation industry.

She is the face behind Mamaj Aviation Blog, Mamaj Aviation TV, Mamaj Mentorship Academy and the Convener of the Annual Cabin Crew Fair and the Explore Aviation Careers Conference.

Joy has been in the Aviation industry for almost 3 decades. Today, as a Careers Development Advocate she is paying it forward. Her passion and mission are to highlight the Aviation and travel industry to a global audience and to groom the next generation of skilled Aviation professionals.

Joy Ogbebo, fondly called MamaJ, is the first Aviation and travel blogger, an Aviation Consultant, Aviation Careers Development Advocate and a Career Mentor. She is the face behind such media instruments and platforms: MamaJ Aviation Blog, MamaJ Aviation TV, MamaJ Aviation Mentorship Academy and The Convener of the Annual Cabin Crew Fair & the Explore Aviation Careers Conference.

The founder, MamaJ Aviation Consult Limited, Joy has over 30 years’ experience in the Aviation industry and is especially passionate about grooming the next generation of skilled Aviation professionals and preparing them for a future in the field of Aviation.

Following over 3 decades in the aviation industry, Joy seeks to continue her long standing culture of social responsibility towards budding aviators by impacting the next generation of skilled Aviation professionals -sending the elevator down and paying it forward.

Her Aviation Career started in 1992 as a Cabin Crew, rising through the ranks to the peak of her Career. Through her journey in the industry, she was privileged to work with reputable airlines such as Okada Airlines, Associated Airlines, Virgin Nigeria and Discovery Airways. Within this period, she has specialized in Crew Management, Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management and mentoring.

She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Mass Communication from Delta State University, a Diploma in Social Works from the University of Benin, a Diploma and certificate in Leadership and Coaching, Customer Service Etiquette, Effective Coaching and Supervisory Skills. Joy has also attended many Aviation courses within and outside Nigeria.
