Africa: Gambia’s Abubacar Camara appointed as new Director General of Tourism Board

Abubacar S. Camara, former acting director general of Gambia Tourism Board has been appointed as the new DG of the organisation.

Camara who replaced Abdoulie Hydara as Gambia Tourism Board director general, has over 18 years’ experience in the organisation and has been in acting capacity.

The new director general has a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Honours, from the University of Gambia, and with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), from Rome Business School.
