Ghana Seeks Global Investors

Ghana is actively inviting international investors to explore opportunities in its growing tourism industry, according to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie.

Emphasizing the country’s openness to foreign direct investment, the minister highlighted Ghana’s commitment to building partnerships that can unlock the full potential of its rich cultural heritage and natural attractions.

According to mobile.ghanaweb.com, she stated that the country is always ready to welcome investments that align with its tourism vision and national development agenda.

The minister made this known during a meeting with a delegation from the Tourvest Integrated Tourism Group to discuss potential collaborations and unveil a major investment drive in Ghana’s tourism sector.

The discussions centred on Tourvest’s operational philosophy, authentic Ghanaian storytelling, and the delivery of immersive guest experiences at tourist centres.

Madam Gomashie expressed keen interest in deepening collaboration with Tourvest, particularly in areas such as tourism infrastructure development, job creation, and capacity building.

He noted that Tourvest’s approach prioritises the hiring of local staff, the implementation of social impact initiatives, and the execution of community development projects.

He emphasised the need for continuous open communication as both parties work towards establishing Ghana as a centre of excellence for sustainable, culturally grounded tourism that empowers communities.
