Ambassador James Akeem Anago-Osho, Managing Director of Global Anago Adventures Limited, has built his career around advancing community and sustainable tourism.
His work is multifaceted but his key areas of focus are community and sustainable tourism development, focus on reconnecting heritage where he serves as a bridge for the African Diaspora to reconnect with their African roots through history, DNA testing and cultural exploration, tours and heritage conservation.
He conducts tours in Nigeria and Africa, promoting cultural exchange and understanding. He advocates African perspectives for accurate representation of African history and culture, highlighting both ancient and modern aspect. He has a strong passion and has actively being a tourism/tour educational growth and development trainer. Over the years, he has done trainings with Federal and State tourism agencies like NIHOTOUR, Local Governments areas and still trains for communities and NGO’s in Africa.
He holds tourism leadership positions in various organizations including Global Anago Adventures Limited, Anago James Akeem Osho Adventures, Co-founder of Association of History, Nature And Culture Tour Guides – Nigeria (AHNACTOURGUIDES), Executive member of West Africa Tour Guides Association (WATGA), Chairman WATGA Nigeria Chapter, Vice-President, South West Zone, Nigeria Association Of Tour Operators (NATOP), Executive member of Institute for Tourism Professionals Of Nigeria (ITPN).
Amb. Anago-Osho’s vision and ultimate goal is to foster development, understanding and peace through tourism, using the mechanism of indigenous intelligence, anthropology, ethnography, history and social science.
