HADDYJATOU NJIE, The GENERAL MANAGER OF NGALA LODGE – The Gambia has been named as one of the Africa Travel 100 under 40 award winners by the organisers of Akwaaba Travel Market, West Africa’s largest travel expo and Atqnews.com.

In the twenty-eight years existence of Ngala Lodge, a five-star luxury boutique hotel, She was the first appointed Gambian General Manager and a female for that matter at the age of thirty-four. This is quite an admirable achievement as she is an

This achievement is evident of her passion towards excellence in service delivery as she rose to the rank of a General Manager based on her experience over the years in the hospitality sector and
particularly being an accommodation service provider par excellence growing from strength to strength being an Operations Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager, Sales & Marketing Director, Deputy General Manager and now a General Manager in different establishments in The
Gambia. Her passion, combined with having a clear vision has been one that is recognizable throughout the sector.

She was Identified and nominated as part of the Executive body of the Gambia Hotel’s association comprising of seven Executives to steer
the affairs of the association, taking reasonably calculated decisions on behalf of the entire membership. The membership represents the major hotels through the membership network of
over thirty-one hotels, motels & resorts. As an Executive member of the Gambia Hotel’s Association, she play a significant role and contribute her quota in the progress of the association.
Bringing fresh and innovative ideas through conducting trainings on excellence in service standards and best practices on excellent customer service skills within the membership.

She was Selected as part of a seven member committee to serve the country, to advise and be in charge of arranging
accommodation for all the Delegates attending the upcoming OIC summit to be held in The Gambia in December 2023. A great achievement that will go down the books as a point of National duty.

Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established
blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure
things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure
where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
