Go Places Africa has been awarded the trophy for Best Destination Marketing Company at the Kenya Tourism Awards 2025, marking a significant milestone for the organisation and the wider tourism industry.
The company described the honour as deeply meaningful, noting that after more than 33 years in the tourism, travel, publishing, and destination marketing industry, the recognition holds special significance. Over the decades, Go Places Africa has attended and supported numerous award ceremonies, but this moment stood out as Destination Marketing was formally recognised as a category for the first time.

According to Founder and Group Managing Director, Nev Jiwani, the award is seen as a powerful acknowledgement of the critical role that storytelling, promotion, and global positioning play in growing tourism destinations. For more than three decades, Go Places Africa has passionately promoted Kenya and the East African region to the world, telling authentic stories, showcasing destinations, and connecting global audiences to the beauty, culture, people, and experiences that define the region.
The company noted that this work has always been driven by purpose and a deep love for the industry, often carried out behind the scenes, making the recognition at the Kenya Tourism Awards 2025 both humbling and rewarding.
