The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, has approved the appointment of Gabe Onah as the Executive Chairman, Cross River State Carnival Commission 2023.
This is just as the governor approved the appointment of Mr. Ojoi Ekpeyong as the Managing Director, Cross River State Tourism Bureau.
According to a press release by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Emmanuel Ogbeche, Mr. Effiong A. Ekpeyong and Mr. Tomas Edim Ikpeme have been appointed as Special Advisers, Events Management, Governor’s Office and Tourism Development, respectively.
He said the Governor charges the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new roles and see their appointments as call to service.
He added that all the appointments take effect from August 1, 2023.
Others appointed into the Carnival Commission include: James Bullem, Grace Ann Nku , Shirley Effiom, Bassey Effiom Archibong, and Austin Cobham as Secretary.
