Africa: Hon Beulah Chukwuma Felicitates with lmolites on the Occasion of World Tourism Day 2022

The Special Adviser Tourism to the Imo State Governor, Hon Mrs. Beulah Chukwuma has felicitated with the government and the indigenes of the state on the World Tourism Day, WTD, 2022.

She said the governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has taken giant stride in improving major infrastructure in the state which will further state enhance tourists’ footprints into Imo State.

“I felicitate with the government and good people of lmo state today as we join the rest of the world to mark World Tourism Day 2022.

“This year’s celebration has the theme Rethinking Tourism for a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient sector to continue to drive economic growth of nations in the post COVID era.

“The Tourism sector value chain is filled with opportunities for economic empowerment for our people through profits for investors, wages and salaries for workers and income via taxation to government. Hence the need for all and sundry to support the sector in our state.

“I thank our Governor Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for his efforts in securing lmo State which has significantly impacted positively on Tourism in our state. Worthy of mention is the commissioning of the Orlu/Owerri and Owerri/Okigwe roads. These roads are major gateways into our state which will further enhance tourists’ footprints into the state.

“I therefore enjoin lmolites to join hands with our government and ensure a peaceful atmosphere for the growth and prosperity of our dear state through the benefits of tourism.

“Happy World Tourism Day To The Government And People Of Imo State.”
