For the 3rd consecutive year, Akwa Ibom state-owned airline, Ibom Air has won the Best On-Time Performance Airline in Nigeria and the Best Airline in Nigeria for 2022 awards at the just concluded CHINET Aviation and Cargo conference in Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja.
According to the organiser, Mr Ikechi Uko, the award is in recognition of Ibom Air’s unwavering commitment to excellence, despite daunting challenges and a demanding business environment.

The COO of Ibom Air, George Uriesi, in his response dedicated the awards to employees, stakeholders, and most importantly, customers. He said, “These awards validate our relentless efforts at providing top-notch services and maintaining a high level of performance in the Nigerian airline industry. The management and staff of Ibom Air are greatly encouraged by this consistent recognition.”
