The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) emerged as the most searched entity between January and March in American tech giant Google’s latest trending searches in Nigeria, with Peter Obi and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) closely following. The naira redesign by CBN before Nigeria’s general elections ultimately contributed to it been in the top searched.
