Int’l hospitality brands in Nigeria challenge local brands to raise their standards – Fasugba

By Renn Offor

Against the argument in several quarters that the rising presence and seeming dominance of international hospitality management brands in Nigeria is threatening the continued existence and success of smaller indigenous brands, General Manager of Sabitex Hotel, Mr. Fasugba Olalekan, has argued that the presence of these international brands should not be seen as a threat.

Instead, they should rather serve as stimuli for local brands to aspire and raise their standards in other to compete within the market in terms of infrastructure, service quality and general standards.

Mr. Fasugba said this when Sabitex Hotel, hosted a team of Atqnews.com at his Lagos office.
