JOESEF KARIM, Public Relations Officer of the Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), has been listed as one of the top 100 tourism personalities in Nigeria.
JOESEF KARIM the image maker of the highest tourism body in Nigeria is also an author, essayist, advertising practitioner, event promoter, operator and tourism development advocate in Nigeria.
The company is the trademark owner and operator of HOLIDAY NIGERIA™ – a leading inbound Africa tour operation franchise. He is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of Nigeria Travel Digest – a widely read online travel news magazine and Pan-Nigeria destination promoter.
Mr. Karim is an African tourism business consultant and an inbound Nigeria ground handling services provider. Joesef has been a prominent Nigeria tourism stakeholder for over two decades, and is on the Board of some travel and tourism companies in Nigeria.
In April 2013, Joesef authored a book: “Travel & Tour Operations in Nigeria”. The book has since been adopted as a course material by some Polytechnics and Universities across Nigeria that offer ‘Tourism Management’ as a field of study. Additionally, every quarter, Joesef provides hands-on workshops on ‘Tour Packaging & Sales Strategy’ for travel traders in Nigeria.
Presently, Joesef is the Public Relations Officer of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) – the umbrella body of the organized private sector in Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality industry. Karim is also a Member, Board of Trustees, of the Touristry Consultants Forum (TCF). And a fellow Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN).
