On Friday, 22nd May 2026, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, conducted an inspection tour of the newly reconstructed offices of the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture and the Lagos State Film and Video Censors Board, located on Awolowo Road, Alausa, Ikeja.

The upgraded facility features a modern performance auditorium, exhibition galleries, digital archiving centres, dedicated creative spaces, and administrative offices.

The reconstruction reflects the Lagos State Government’s commitment to providing infrastructure that meets global standards for the creative community.
