The National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) has postponed its planned Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to hold on March 26-27 in Kano State.

The annual general meeting which is expected host over 500 participants was cancelled due the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country and globally.

NANTA President, Bankole Bernard had earlier informed the media that speakers at the annual general meeting would be seasoned aviators and tourism experts selected to educate and dissect the theme of the gathering.

“Our annual general meeting in Kano promises to live up to our established protocols in terms of quality attendance and discussions on notable industry issues,” Bernanrd stated.

But with the COVID-19 pandemic, the event has put on hold until further notice
