NATOP

The Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), and its sister bodies of Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), National Association Nigeria of Travel Agencies (NANTA), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), and Skal Nigeria are synergising to promote domestic tourism in the country.

The groups made the decision to promote the tourism sector in the country at an event to usher in the World Tourism Day celebration held at Manal Hotel, Abuja.

NATOP President, Hajia Bilkis Abdul during a round table discussion that was attended by FTAN President, Alhaji Saleh Rabo, NANTA President, Susan Akporiaye, Skal President Nigeria, Rita Ofure Obidike, Representative of the DG NIHOTOUR and fellow NATOP members, various discussions about improving tourism were discussed and the need to collaborate among tourism bodies in the industry.

The tourism stakeholders agree to promote Manal Hotel after a familiarization tour of the facility led by the hotel management, with a Memorandum of Understanding to be signed later by both parties.

NATOP said members across the country should be rest assured that the agreement with Manal Hotel Management will be accessible and will be enjoyed by all eligible members.
