Africa: NCAA, FCCPC Deepen Collaboration on Aviation Consumer Protection

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission have deepened collaboration aimed at enhancing consumer protection within Nigeria’s aviation industry.

The partnership move was highlighted during a strategic meeting held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the NCAA headquarters in Abuja, where the FCCPC delegation was led by Assistant Director, Legal, Mrs. Precious Ichoku.

The engagement is to start discussions on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen consumer protection in the aviation sector.
