In a move to enhance accessibility for international African travelers, Nigeria has significantly lowered its online visa fees.
The new fee is less than half of the existing cost. For Kenyans coming to Nigeria the online Visa fee was $225 but with the review, it is at $95 or less.
Though, travelers who approach the Nigerian Embassy could still get the visa for less than $50.
The review comes from a Presidential directive earlier in the year for the Ministry to review the Fees. There have been loud complaints from practitioners and frequent travellers to the hike in visa on arrival fees.
Some Ministers were asked to work out a good state.
