Africa: Nigerian Carrier, Arik Air resumes flight operations after minister’s order grounded the airline

Nigerian Carrier, Arik Air has announced that the airline will commence flight operations from August 8, 2024.

The announcement is coming days after the airline operations was grounded following orders from the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo.

According to AriK Air in a press statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Captain Roy Ilegbodu, he said, “During our brief pause, we have been dedicated to ensuring a smooth and seamless return to service, preparing to welcome you back on board with the comfort and reliability you expect from us.
