The Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA) and Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria FAAN are teaming up to bring Tourism Information Desks back to Nigeria’s major airports so visitors can feel the magic of Nigeria from the moment they land.
During a visit to FAAN headquarters in Lagos, NTDA DG Dr. Olayiwola Awakan GrPr met with FAAN MD and CEO Mrs Olubunmi Kuku to spark this fresh partnership focused on improving the first experience travellers have when they arrive in the country.
According to NTDA “Airports are the first hello. We want that hello to be warm, helpful and inspiring, with maps, guides, travel tips and highlights of the best places to explore across Nigeria.
“From culture and heritage to food, beaches, waterfalls, eco adventure and hidden gems, the goal is to help every traveller discover what makes our country special.”
NTDA and FAAN are setting up a joint team to drive the plan and ensure arriving passengers get all the support they need.
