Uganda Tourism is set to showcase the country’s amazing tourism resources at the 18th Akwaaba African Travel Market taking place on the 31st of October and 1st of November 2022 at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Lagos.

This is just as its East African neighbour, Tanzania will be taking its message of The Royal Tour to this year’s event to woo Nigerian and African travel and tourism organisations.

Regarded as the Pearl of Africa, Uganda is endowed with some the World’s most beautiful and breath taking tourism sites.

The Pearl is blessed with an undeniable natural beauty. In the west, the Rwenzori peaks reach towards the sky, the perfect challenge for bold explorers – Across the nation, parks are home to some of the world’s most exotic animals: Silverbacks, lions and countless others, ooh… Uganda is home to Africa’s big 5.

Winding roads lead to places of grand beauty and unique cultures for those who dare to explore. There’s a story at every turn, especially from our people, who are renowned for their warmth and charm.

The Pearl of Africa is one of the continent’s most loved travel destinations; with mountains, exotic wildlife, invigorating nightlife, captivating culture, and sacred religious monuments all add to the magic of her allure.

Uganda remains a uniquely enchanting destination whose diversity inspired the creation of Explore Uganda.

Explore Uganda is your guide to everything that makes Uganda truly special. Visit a country known for its untamed forests, breathtaking waterfalls, and magnificent wildlife, and then stay for its unique religious monuments and the most vibrant nightlife in East Africa.
