Africa: Work at the Enugu airport runway suspended due to covid19, completion date no longer feasible – Sirika

Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi has regretted that the proposed completion of the Akanu Ibiam International, Enugu before Easter as earlier promised will not be feasible.

No thanks to the corona virus pandemic ravaging the world and to this end, workers at the site have been sent home to be with their families in this health emergency crisis.

Senator Sirika during an inspection tour of the airport disclosed that the work done so far had reached 90%.
