Zambia has updated its visa fees which started in January 1st, doubling the cost for single-entry and double-entry visas for travelers from countries that require a visa.

According to tourismupdate, the cost for a single-entry visa (valid for stays of up to 90 days) has increased from US$25 to US$50 while double-entry fees have risen from US$40 to US$80. A multiple entry visa now costs US$80 (up from US$75).

Fees for the KAZA Univisa and day-tripper visa remain unchanged at US$50 and US$10 respectively.

Zambia has one of Africa’s most liberal visa policies with the number of visa-exempt countries expanding to 167 in 2025. Only 31 nations are subject to visa requirements for travel to the Southern African country.
