Africa: Zambia to Host 2nd UN Tourism Africa and Americas Summit in April 2025 Focused on Sustainability, Investment, and Connectivity

Following the success of the first edition in the Dominican Republic, the 2nd UN Tourism Africa & Americas Summit is set to be held in Livingstone, Zambia, from April 8 to 10, 2025.

Co-organized by UN Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism of Zambia, this summit will bring together Ministers of Tourism from Africa and the Americas, senior government officials, and key private sector stakeholders to foster dialogue, investment, and sustainable tourism development.

This edition will focus on strengthening air connectivity, building resilience, attracting investment, and advancing education and skills development.
