Aviation: Air France officially welcomed back to Seychelles


The official welcome of Air France JOON on Tuesday the 15th May at Seychelles International Airport was led by Minister Didier Dogley, Seychelles Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, which was followed the same evening by a cocktail at the French Ambassador’s Residence where three successive Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministers (Didier Dogley, Maurice Loustau-Lalanne & Alain St.Ange) were present showing the Seychellois appreciation of the resumed service by Air France.

Seychelles recently welcomed back British Airways to the country with its direct non-stop flight from the UK. Minister Maurice Loustau-Lalanne and British High Commissioner H.E. Carol Rohsler were joined by Capt David Savy of SCAA, Gilbert Faure the CEO of the SCAA, Garry Albert PS for Transport, Anne Lafortune PS for Tourism and Sherin Francis, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board at the ribbon cutting ceremony to officially welcome British Airways back to Seychelles.
