Aviation: Africa World Airlines increases domestic frequency to Tamale

Ghana’s leading carrier, Africa World Airlines has further increase its domestic flight frequencies with the introduction of a third daily flight between Accra and Tamale effective 20 MAY2020.

A statement by the airline said the additional services will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at lunch time, and will complement AWA’s existing morning and afternoon flights in the market.

It stated that AWA continues to operate twice daily between Accra and Kumasi, and intends to recommence flights to Takoradi shortly.

The airline said “Depart from Accra to Kumasi at 920am or 310pm, and from Accra to Tamale at 9am, 1150am or 230pm. Departures from Kumasi are at 1040am and 420pm, and from Tamale at 1030am, 130pm and 4pm.

“Every AWA flight operates with industry leading safety protocols that ensure all our passengers, staff and crew can “Fly Safe, Fly Confident!”.”

The carrier had earlier increased its domestic services to Kumasi and Tamale on 7th of May 2020.
