Aviation: Africa World Airlines promotes flight officers and cabin crew

Africa World Airlines (AWA), has promoted two of its First Flight to Captain and three of its Cabin Crew to Senior Cabin Crew after undergoing the required industry training.

The airline which pride itself of having qualified manpower in its employ said it seized the opportunity of using the pandemic period in providing additional training to its team members in order to build on their skills.

AWA said it is focused on investing in young Ghanaian talent in order to build indigenous aviation capacity in the country.

“When today throws up challenges, look towards tomorrow.”

“Here at Africa World Airlines, we are very proud of our investment in young Ghanaian talent as we strive to build indigenous aviation capacity. During this pandemic period, we have focused on providing additional training to our team members to build on their skills.

“This week, we are thrilled to announce the promotion of three of our Cabin Crew to Senior Cabin Crew, and two of our First Officers to Captain. Although the celebrations may be slightly muted in this period of social distancing, our pride in their achievements can never be diminished.”
