French National Carrier, Air France has announced that it will serve up to 196 destinations on 5 continents, with a flight schedule representing on average 90% of the capacity deployed at the same period in 2019.

According to airspace-africa.com, Air France will return to its pre-crisis levels of activity with the addition of frequencies to numerous destinations.

On long-haul network to Africa, Air France’s activity will be driven by buoyant demand for flights to the region that have proved resilient throughout the crisis.

There will be two daily flights from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and the seasonal services to Zanzibar, Tanzania and Banjul in the Gambia which will be extended over the summer season.

With the numerous flight addition to major destinations, Air France is preparing for a busy summer 2022.

The new services offering is an example of the gradual recovery of the industry.
