ITA Airways has been announced as the Official Airline Sponsor of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
According to the airline, the partnership, in collaboration with Italy’s Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi, was unveiled during the inauguration of the airline’s new Runway Lounge at Milan Linate Airport.

This strategic alliance with the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation reflects a shared commitment to promoting the values of sport and showcasing Italy’s excellence on the global stage. The agreement reinforces ITA Airways’ role as the national carrier and ambassador of Italian culture and innovation.
As part of the partnership, ITA Airways launched a national media campaign and a promotional contest titled “Destination Milano Cortina 2026”, offering monthly prizes and a grand prize for ticket-holding participants in Italy to attend the upcoming Winter Games.
Additionally, two ITA Airways aircraft—the A320 Gustav Thöni and A320neo Enrico Fabris—will feature special Olympic and Paralympic-themed liveries illustrated by internationally acclaimed artist Emiliano Ponzi.
